Continental League Games April 9th

Kansas City and Detroit remain undefeated as teams move to new cities and open new series.  The Cattle Barons fell behind early at home against the Commodores after Duke Snider hit two home runs for Nashville, but they rallied for three in the 8th to stay perfect.  The Model Ts battled all throughout until Charlie Gehringer's late homer broke the deadlock.  Mickey Mantle had to leave the game, but is expected back tomorrow.  Finally, "Iron Joe" McGinnity turned in a strong performance to give the White Bears their first win of the season against Cincinnati.
