The Continental League President's office announced this morning that the Kansas City Cattle Barons, which have cooled down after their hot start, made a bold move to acquire relief ace Herb Pennock from the Chicago White Bears. In exchange, they'll send Dizzy Dismukes to the White Bears. Pennock has already made 7 appearances, and started sharply, but has not been effective in his last 3. Dismukes is a starter, but has not been able to last more than 6 innings in his two starts. KC hopes that with their better rotation, Pennock can get some much needed rest and return to his earlier form, while Chicago gets a needed starter.
