Federal League Games April 20th

Boston's Hank Greenberg ripped a triple scoring one run and then scored on a Roberto Clemente sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 9th inning to tie the ball game.  This set up Hank Aaron's walk off to give the Pilgrims 5-4 win over the Pittsburgh Grays.  In New Orleans, the Jazz Kings triumphed in a high scoring 9-7 affair with the New York Knights.  John Mize went 3-4 with a double and a homer to give New Orleans the edge, though.  In Philadelphia, the Liberty came up just short despite two ninth inning home runs.  A relentless Washington offense put 9 runs on the board, and managed to hold on for a 9-7 victory.
