Federal League Games April 12th

Christy Mathewson impresses with a one run victory in Washington. Hank Greenberg has broken out big time in the big apple, hitting his 4th homer to lift Boston over New York 5-3. Walter Johnson both homers and throws 7 strong innings, yet the Liberty still needs an 8 run ninth inning for a comeback win over New Orleans, which has had difficulties in the pen already this season.
