Continental League Games April 12th

Detroit remained perfect after three straight home runs from Mike Schmidt, Larry Doby and Bill Dickey sunk the River Boats for the 4th straight time. For Schmidt, it was his second home run of the game.  In Cincinnati, the Beergardners' woes continued as Carl Hubbell blanked them behind an 8 run White Bear outburst.  Finally, Robin Roberts was unable to copy his previous strong outing as the Commodores put up six runs against only three from Kansas City.  Duke Snider hit his league leading 4th home run for Nashville, continuing his strong start to the season.
